Had dinner at the restaurant our first night and it was absolutely delicious. The chef and owner (Richard) of the restaurant (Domus) made us a salad, bruschetta, and grouper with pasta that was absolutely delicious. Our oceanfront room with 2 balconies was perfect for watching the sunrise in the morning. There was a very clean pool and the beach is right there too. You can rent umbrellas and chairs to use on the beach. Marco was great at getting you set up and making sure we were all set to enjoy our day at the beach. They also offer massages and even though I didn't get one, I now regret that I didn't, a friend that can to visit did get one and she said it was the best massage she has ever had. So even if you don't stay at this hotel it is definitely worth your time to eat at the restaurant and/or get a massage. The staff was friendly, helpful, and made our visit a relaxing and enjoyable vacation.

Location was good. Close to many good restaurant options within walking distance. The pool and the beach area was beautiful. Unfortunately, a barge or garbage boat must have dumped nearby as there was plastic bags and micro plastics all over the water. The hotel, overall was upper crust and well done. Honestly, the room, as we didn't have an ocean view room, was nothing to write home about. The price is, what it is, because of the location, so ya have to keep that in mind. I've actually stayed in " name brand" hotels where I paid half the price for similar rooms. But, I'm sure the Sea View rooms were more upper level. Would I recommend the hotel? YES! The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall it was a good stay.

Beautiful rooms. Great location. Staff and owner are very friendly and accommodating. I arrived late around 9 pm and the owner made me a nice meal. Shrimp scampi. He is an excellent cook. I would recommend The SeaLordhotel for a luxurious vacation!

I'm so glad I finally tried this hotel! I've stayed at three other hotels in LBTS and I've always been intrigued by Sea Lord based on the outdoor appearance and it being adults only. I recently stayed here for a week with my sister and overall, we were very happy with our stay. I would mainly like to shout out Oldane at the front desk and Maria with housekeeping. Both of these women were one of the highlights of my stay. Both of them were so helpful, attentive and had such positive attitudes which was very appreciated by me and my sister. I never once needed to ask for towels, toiletries, or my room to be cleaned (they clean everyday) which may sound silyl but I didn't have that same experience at some of the other hotels in the area. I was able to check in early and keep my room late on check out which was extremely convenient with my travel schedule. Beach chairs and umbrellas are available for a fee, which I knew ahead of time. I didn't mind because these lounge chairs were a lot more comfortable than the chairs that some of the other hotels provide (some of the hotels don't have chairs at all). The guy who handled the chairs were very nice and friendly too. The hotel is right on the beach which was perfect and is very close to the strip of restaurants and shops. The rooms were a little outdated but I also expected this going into it as I read that in other comments. Didn't really bother me though. My only complaints which didn't majorly affect my stay anyways were the restaurant onsite was closed the whole time (we were looking forward to trying) and they had quite a lot of construction going on. Like I said, neither ruined our trip but did wish both of these were disclosed to us ahead of time. The only other con I'd highlight is there's no lounge chairs by the pool, only sitting chairs/tables. I personally love to lounge by the pool, especially on days where the weather isn't super reliable so I do wish they had lounge chairs by the pool. Overall, I was really happy with my stay and would stay here again. The service truly made the trip and I look forward to hopefully coming back again soon!

We had a wonderful 4 night get away thanks to the Sea Lord Hotel, I highly recommend this beautiful hotel and encourage all to make reservations for breakfast, lunch or dinner with the owner Richard, who is a fantastic chef and a excellent host, and his staff that are exceptional that made us feel so welcome from the moment we walked in the door!!We stayed in one of the junior sweets with a beautiful view of the ocean!!! It was very spacious with a king sized super comfortable bed and dining/ kitchen area.. The hotel is within walking distance to all Lauderdale by The Sea offers in their quaint area. We enjoyed the shops and the food and music nightlife and of course the shore diving and snorkeling are as convenient as anything you could possibly find! On our final day at Sea Lord Hotel we took advantage of the opportunity to have a massage which we chose to have conveniently done right in our room by their amazing masseuse. We feel very lucky that we found this special place and will definitely return to it once we have the opportunity in the near future.

My husband and I stumbled upon this gem years ago, when there were no vacancies nearby (on the beach), and the other hotel's staff were actually rude to him. Tatiana was working here, and welcomed us with so much friendliness, it will always be treasured. We come here for over a week, every July and December/January. It does feel like home. Oldane is now here most of our stays, and she makes us feel so special. She is a beautiful soul. Marco helps with everything- he is also amazing. And Richard is not only the most attentive owner, he is an amazing chef!!! We could eat his meals every day if we could. The Sea Lord is our favorite hotel anywhere, and we travel a LOT. I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to stay in Paradise.

My mom and I have a tradition of taking a yearly trip together, and this year The Sea Lord Hotel quietly raised the bar for every trip going forward. We've stayed in plenty of places in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea throughout the years, but this place is truly is the most special. The hotel itself is spotless, beautifully maintained, and perfectly located - right on the water and within walking distance to several great restaurants and shops. Richard, the owner and chef, greeted us with such genuine warmth and prepared some of the best meals we've ever had on vacation. His hospitality truly sets this place apart and is the kind of genuine hospitality that is rare. We also couldn't have asked for better service than what received from all the staff, including Marko, who checked in on us often, always making sure we were taken care of. Marko's kindness and attentiveness truly made our experience exceptional. The Sea Lord Hotel stood out in all the ways that matter - comfort, convenience, and service - making our search for future trips easy.
